This article is over 2 years old and may contain outdated information.

Of all the monsters that you can encounter in Lethal Company, there are definitely some that are a lot less or a lot more violent than others. Then there are those that just look a lot more terrifying or dangerous than they actually are. The Manticoil is definitely one of these monsters, with its yellow and black feather outlines and set of four wings. Despite being huge with an alarming wingspan of up to 64 inches, trying to survive or defeat the Manticoils in Lethal Company is one of the easiest things that you can do.

The only way to survive and defeat Manticoils in Lethal Company is to avoid contact with them at all costs. These are incredibly docile creatures, even if they happen to take notice of you. Regardless of whether or not they do, they won’t even interact with you, making them the least terrifying monster that you’ll encounter.

However, just because they won’t attack you when you pass by doesn’t make them not at all threatening. According to their bestiary entry, they can still transmit Rabies, Rubenchlora, and Pitt Virus. Fortunately, these don’t seem to be things that can actually happen in-game, so you’re clear from damage from these winged creatures. Whether that means that at some point in the future, they will be able to transmit those diseases or not is unclear.

For now, we would recommend steering clear of them, and if they happen to get close enough to potentially damage you, just evade them. If at any point they actually do become able to harm players, we would probably recommend using the Transporter to get out of there as quickly as possible.
