Loot Crate had an Anti-Hero theme in August. We are going to take a look at two different crates that we received with this theme.  First, we got the Loot Wear (formerly Lvl Up).  There were some really nice items in this “crate.”

Theme: Anti-Hero

Loot Wear comes with different options.  You can be specific about what you want to get by narrowing it down to one of these options:

  • Loot Socks:  2 pairs of socks – $9.99/month
  • Underwear:   boxer shorts – $14.99/month
  • Loot Tees:  T-shirts – $8.99/month
  • Loot Wearables:  Hoodies, shirts, tops and bottoms for men and women $14.99/month
  • Loot for Her:  Wearables specifically for women – $14.99/month
  • Loot Socks + Loot Wearables:  2 Pairs of socks plus an exclusive hoodie, sweater, top or bottom – $20.99/month
  • Loot for Her + Loot Tees:  Exclusive mystery apparel for women plus Men’s t-shirt:  $19.99/month

Let’s take a look at what came in our Loot Wear crate.

Loot Crate

This baseball tee is a mashup of Archer and Magnum P.I. This works really well with the Season 7 Archer spoof of Magnum P.I. and makes a great shirt for fans of the show.

Loot Crate

Harley Quinn’s skirt made the Loot Wear crate in August.  This skirt could be worn at Halloween but it also could be a cosplay skirt or just an everyday skirt for those Harley Quinn fans out there.  To go with the skirt, one of the pairs of socks that were included were Harley Quinn inspired, as well.

The other pair of socks comes from Marvel’s The Punisher.

The exclusive t-shirt for this crate was this World of Warcraft shirt.  It’s a nice, quality-made, shirt and definitely a must-have for World of Warcraft fans.

The other Anti-Hero crate was the regular Loot Crate for August.  Loot Crate is a monthly mystery crate filled with collectibles and apparel from your favorite tv shows, movies, games, and more! Some of the items are exclusive to Loot Crate subscribers.  There is more than $50 worth  of products in every crate!

Cost: $13.95 a month plus Shipping and Handling

Could Sterling Archer be the answer to the upcoming election?  Well, Loot Crate’s Sterling Archer t-shirt suggests he is capable of being the Dangerzone President anyway.  This is the election season which means it is the topic of discussion for a little bit longer (or at least let’s hope it dies down after the November election!).

So, Harley Quinn made the regular Loot Crate for August, as well.  This Harley Quinn Q-Fig from Quantum Mechanix is actually pretty cool.  And I just love the little speech bubble where she calls out to her “Puddin.”

It is difficult to tell the size of this Hellboy Right Hand of Doom Ceramic Bank but I wouldn’t plan on putting too many of your pennies in it.  I like the concept however, it could have been a little bigger.

How about some Kill Bill socks?  A person cannot have enough pairs of socks, right?  And, it doesn’t get more “Anti-Hero” than Kill Bill.

Finally, the #Lootpin for August’s Anti-Hero theme.  It’s World of Warcraft inspired.

These two different crate choices from Loot Crate both brought some pretty cool apparel and collectibles, especially if you’re an Archer or Harley Quinn fan.  Traditionally, the different Loot Crate options will, many times, share the same theme and highlight the same tv shows, movies or games throughout those crates.  You have to decide what kind of “Loot” you want to get.

Head over to their website and check out all of the crate options.  They definitely have something for everyone.  Don’t forget to use our affiliate link and coupon code:  NERD STASH and save $3.00!

You have a little over 5 days left to get in on the Horror themed October Crate.  It should be really good!

I am the wife of a real nerd who has developed some nerd-like tendencies along the way. I am a mom of two teenagers who is still trying to figure out what she wants to be when she grows up! I spend my days working at the local community & technical college as a Director of Business & Industry training. At night and on weekends, I love spending time with family, binge-watching tv series, playing video games with the kids, graphic design, and, yes, reviewing products. I have my Bachelor’s and Master’s Degrees in Communication and contemplating a Doctorate…I consider myself a lifetime learner!
