Lethal Company isn’t the kind of game that you can play without friends. Not that you’d even want to, considering all of the monsters you have to try and survive. For those who would much rather have a solo experience, however, it’s definitely possible if you know what you’re doing. Instead of letting you figure it out for yourself, we wrote out how to play Lethal Company solo.

You absolutely can play Lethal Company solo. To do this, you need to start a LAN game followed and confirm it so that you can host it. There are only two choices of launch: Online and LAN. Since no one else is in a LAN party with you, you’ll be playing by yourself. Just start the game, and you’ll find yourself alone on the ship.

To sum it up, you need to:

  1. Start a LAN game and confirm it.

  2. Start the game.

  3. Play by Lethal Company solo!

Tips For Playing Solo in Lethal Company

Playing alone is going to make your Lethal Company experience significantly more difficult. In our experience, you’re going to want to:

  • Move as much as possible. Some monsters are significantly less aggressive if you stay out of their line of sight.
  • Keep an eye on the clock and try to be back before nightfall. Of course, if you have to, at least try to be back by 8 pm at the latest.
  • Always be armed. You never know what sort of monsters are lurking behind corners or within the trees.
  • Invest in a Pro-Flashlight just to make things easier while you’re out.

We don’t really recommend playing alone in Lethal Company. If anything you’ll be more mindful of monster tactics as a result of being out alone. However, you can always do this with a team of players.
