While powerful gear has always been essential to any build in Diablo 4, Season 2 raised the power bar even higher by forcing players to hunt for items like Tibault’s Will. As a unique item, these pants cannot drop until you reach at least World Tier 3, but this is only the beginning of the challenge. Of course, you can pray to lady luck and hope to drop this item from random enemies, but the chance is negligible. On the other hand, you can increase your chance by challenging one of the final bosses, but this is a much more difficult challenge.

First, it is worth noting that the only way to purposefully farm Thibault’s Testament in Diablo 4 is to challenge the Uber Duriel boss, also known as Echo of Duriel. You can find this boss in the southern part of Kehjistan by visiting Gaping Crevasse on World Tier 4. But before you can summon this enemy, you will have to collect some ingredients:

  • x2 Mucus-Slick Eggs. To obtain this ingredient, you must defeat the Echo of Varshan boss on World Tier 4. You can find this enemy in the Hawezar area by visiting the Malignant Burrow near the Tree of Whispers. But to summon it, you will also need a Gurgling Head, Blackened Femur, Trembling Hand, and Malignant Heart. You can get them by opening Whisper Caches obtained during Grim Favors or killing Grotesque Debtors during Blood Harvest.
  • x2 Shards of Agony. You can get this material by fighting Grigoire, The Galvanic Saint boss on World Tier 4. To find this boss, go to Dindai Flats and visit the Hall of the Penitent. To activate the boss altar, you will need some Living Steel, which you can buy for 300 Aberrant Cinders during the Helltide event.

Once you have collected all the ingredients, you can activate the Echo of Duriel Altar in Gaping Crevasse and challenge a powerful level 100 enemy. The bad news is that all these steps do not guarantee 100% receipt of Tibault’s Will. After all, you can also get other unique or uber-unique items.

On the other hand, you can rely on luck if you are a beginner. As we said earlier, you can get Tibault’s Will from any enemy with a negligible chance. But completing Nightmare Dungeons, defeating World Bosses, and participating in various events will significantly increase your chances of success.
