This article is over 2 years old and may contain outdated information.

Lethal Company has a variety of different things that you can add to your ship. There’s the Loud Horn, the Teleporter, and the Inverse Teleporter. Each of these has its own uses that make the game just a bit easier. However, it can get confusing in the heat of the hunt what each of these things do. This is especially the case for the different teleporters you can pick up. To make things easier, we outline the difference between the Teleporter vs the Inverse Teleporter in Lethal Company down below.

Just because both of these items are teleporters doesn’t mean that they do the same thing. However, they do both teleport players. The real difference is that the Teleporter can send players back to the ship, safe from harm, while the Inverse Teleporter can send players to a random place on the map.

How Do You Use the Teleporter?

The Teleporter can only be used if there is someone back on the ship. All they need to do is pay attention and see if any of their crewmates are in danger. They can then press the Teleporter’s button to teleport that player back. To install it on your ship, it costs 375 credits.

How Do You Use the Inverse Teleporter?

You can pick up the Inverse Teleporter in the ship’s store for 425 credits. To use it, just step inside and hope that you don’t get sent to a locked room.

We recommend having another person on the ship in case something like that happens. In the battle between the Teleporter vs the Inverse Teleporter in Lethal Company, we think the Teleporter is the most useful, due to the unpredictable nature of the Inverse Teleporter.
