Warframe: Whispers in the Walls Will Appear During The Game Awards
Before we delve into the present details, we must say this isn’t the last we’ll see of the upcoming update before its release. The developers mentioned they’ll show up during The Game Awards 2023. According to them, we’ll glimpse at other goodies for the game and some exclusive content they are saving for that date. But, back to what’s already here, let’s take a look at what we can expect narrative-wise in Whispers in the Walls.
Whispers in the Walls Sets the Stage for a New Narrative Arc
As seen on the devstream, Whispers in the Walls is more than just another Cinematic Quest update. It’ll kick off a new narrative arc that looks to answer some past questions while paving the path for something new. With a new enemy faction, an ally syndicate, and many things to discover, this update will set the stage for a new decade in the Warframe universe.

While many are excited about the story, others can’t wait to get their hands on new Warframes. The 55th one to join the ranks is Qorvex. This Warframe will focus on crowd-control effects to keep enemies at bay with several abilities, such as wall traps and fusion reactor pillars. The second one to rush into the fray is Gauss Access Prime, albeit a little bit later. This is the Prime Access for the Gauss Warframe, and players can obtain it sometime in January. The Speedster even has a slick golden mustache for a mix of speed and style.
The Tennokai Power is Here to Revamp the Heavy Attack System
Right now, players can use heavy attacks by consuming their combo counters, but what if said attacks became automatic just by keeping a high combo count? That’s what the new Tennokai melee power is all about. This will be a welcome addition to all players who want to add more mayhem to the battlefield. By equipping the Tennokai segment, players can see their combo counters increase despite using heavy attacks left and right.
Besides all that, you can expect a new hub area called The Sanctum, Alchemy, and Netracells as new mission types, the previously revealed Grimoire secondary weapon, and more.
