The Essence of Aether is a mission in the second Act of MWZ, and it tasks you to find three samples from unknown locations. This mission gives you the least clue on where to find these items, and it got me chasing my tail for hours until I finally got all three of them. Now you certainly don’t have to find all three of these in a single match, but with this guide, you’ll be able to finish the Essence of Aether MWZ mission and find all three sample locations with one deployment in MW3 Zombies.
What Are The Objectives in the Essence of Aether MWZ Mission?
- Collect the essence sample from the container in Hamza Bazaar at Hadiqa Farms.
- Find and get the essence sample from the container in Rostova Shops at Levin Resort.
- Collect the essence sample from the container in Quadri Shopping Center at Zaravan City.
The mission is simple: go to three locations and find the Essence of Aether samples to finish the job. You’ll need a ride for this objective, which you can easily find around the map, or by completing a Cargo Delivery contract. However, if you go to the locations mentioned in the mission’s objective notes, you may not just find these essence canisters easily.
All Aether Sample Locations in MW3 Zombies
Now before starting the investigation, note that this mission is quite buggy at the moment. Some players have reported that they can not interact with the items to checkmark the objectives. But I did the mission in this order of going after the canisters, and it might help avoid a bug if you do the same.
First stop, go to Levin Resort, and head for the location you see above on the map. As you can see, the location is a bit far from the Levin Resort, which is not noted in the mission’s description. There you’ll find a warehouse, and the Aether sample is right inside, standing on a table.
The second Aether Sample in MWZ is in Zarvan City. You’ll need to go to the location marked on the image above, and you’ll find a small shop. The canister is waiting for you inside.
And the last Aether sample in MW3 Zombies – MWZ is found in the Hamza Bazaar. In this location, you’ll find a local mall, where there are a lot of shops and items like rotten fruits and dresses that you can not pick. Search the area, and you’ll find the final Aether sample to complete the Essence of Aether mission in MWZ.
