Supply Pod by Outer Places is a box that comes out every two months and always has a really cool theme.  In the July/August box, they provided their subscribers with a Star Trek themed box.

Before we look inside the box, let’s learn a little more about Supply Pod from Outer Places.

Cost:  $36.99/month plus shipping and handling

Theme: Live Long, Warp Speed

What comes in the box?:  Each box usually contains a science kit relevant to the theme, an exclusive t-shirt, techy gadgets, mystery items, Variant-Cover Comics and more.

So, do you want to know what came in this box?  Let’s check it out.

First, we have the science kit, as promised.  It’s a Solar System Planetarium and is valued at approximately $10 on Amazon.  This box is definitely one for the science fans out there.

What Star Trek fan wouldn’t want to have this shirt?  Live Long, Warp  Speed is the theme of this box and well, if you know anything about Star Trek you will recognize the graphic.

What kid growing up watching Star Trek didn’t want to have their own Captain’s Log? You can almost hear them saying, “Captain’s Log, Star Date ….”

They included the Star Trek #59 by IDW that is an exclusive Variant Cover for Supply Pod.

The techy item for this box was a Star Trek hidden face LED watch.  You have to press on the face and it will light up with the time.  I thought is was pretty cool although I probably wouldn’t wear it.  But there are tons of people who would and do it proudly!

Supply Pod hooked you up with some really cool Spock ears to complete that Halloween Costume.  They are from Rubies who I think makes some really amazing costumes.

The final item in the box was this Galaxy Nightlight which goes well with the theme of the box.

Supply Pod did a great job of putting together the ultimate Star Trek package and made the day of Trekkies all over the country.  Now that Star Trek is out of the way, what do you think the next logical choice for a theme would be?  You probably guessed it.  Right now and for the next 57 days you can get in on this:
