Where To Find the Secret Cave In Fortnite Chapter 5

Nestled on the eastern edge of the Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 1 map, underneath a snow-covered mountain, there is a secret cave system with a lot of loot. According to many sources, Redditor Leo9991 first found this, and they have shown a video of their discovery. The cave does not seem attached to any quest in the game, but it is a location full of loot you must visit in Fortnite Chapter 5. We will show you where to find this secret cave in the new Fortnite chapter 5 map and what to expect once you arrive.

The Secret Cave Location in Fortnite Chapter 5

You can find this Secret cave located northeast of the Grand Glacier and southwest of the Hazy Hillside in the Fortnite Chapter 5 map. It is at the eastern edge of the map at the narrow bend to the sea. The exact location is shown on the above map. Once you land, you will see the cave entrance at the base of a snow-covered mountain.

Once you get inside, there are around three chests, most of which include uncommon weapons, large Shield Portions, and a lot of bullets. You need to crouch to enter the next part of the cave. Then, you need to swim and break any blockages with the Pickaxe while looting the areas.

At the end of the cave area, you can listen to the Calypso Music of the Coral Buddies; some creatures also look like Coral Buddies. Also, there is a small ship floating near the central island.

Tips To Get the Maximum Out From the Secret Cave

I tried looting this cave in the Battle Pass and Zero Build modes but failed in the first few attempts. Here are some tips from my learning.

1. Visit the cave at the beginning of a game: This is a Rule of thumb, as the cave is located in the far corner of the map. So, your match objective must be visiting the cave, and you must land in the area.
2. Select the correct Battle Bus route: Every match does not have the correct Battle Bus route near the location. Remember, there is always a considerable distance to glide, whatever that is. The best place to jump is when the Battle Bus travels above the Reckless Railways.
3. Beware of the Storm Cycle. The first Storm Cycle always covers this area quickly. Therefore, you need to go swiftly through the cave and come out of it before the storm arrives.
