Every so often, Bungie gives us a new Memento to look forward to in Destiny 2 that can be obtained through a bit of hard work and effort. This time around, we’re going to be trying for the Dawning Memento, a Memento that can be picked up by working with Eva Levante to complete some quests during the Dawning 2023 event. The Dawning Memento is a pretty cool one, featuring an icy blue finish that makes your weapons look like they’re covered in ice crystals. I don’t know about you, but I want to get my hands on this one.

Getting your hands on the Dawning Memento isn’t too difficult a task. However, it requires a bit of determination and persistence. You must defeat at least 100 combatants with snowballs, and even put some upgrades into the classic winter weapons. These are all a part of the Winter Night questline, which only has two steps.

You can collect the Winter Night quest from Eva Levante, who can be found within the Tower Courtyard during The Dawning 2023 holiday event in Destiny 2. Once you pick up the quest, you’ll have to jump right into the snowball fight. You must defeat 75 combatants with basic snowballs. It really shouldn’t take too long, since snowballs drop from dang near half of the enemies killed by weapons during the event.

Once you’ve got your 75 snowball kills, head back to the Tower and speak with Eva Levante to put some upgrades on your snowballs. You’ll need to purchase the Long Winter, Longer Winter, and Stay Frosty upgrades, then head back out and get another 25 kills. Once you’re finished, bake and gift Eva Levante some Classic Butter Cookies and collect the Dawning Memento.

Jordan is an experienced fantasy writer who spends hours behind her laptop, and lost in the pages of a book. She strives to be a successful gaming blogger, and has no complaint about the hours of game time she used to increase her knowledge of all things “geek”. She primarily writes gaming articles and fantasy novels. Ark: Survival Evolved is a favorite, along with Diablo 3, Warframe and Minecraft lately, though you can’t forget the good old Magic the Gathering card game! Writing about games truly gives her joy as it gives her another perspective to look at games from, a reason to really look into the mechanics of the game.
