Monster Hunter World is an amazing game if you want to lose track of time and get lost in a fantasy world. There are hundreds of quests to complete and even more monsters to slay or capture. But there is one thing that everyone playing the MWH hates, and that’s the credits scene, which seems impossible to skip. If you have already reached the end of the game, then you know what I’m talking about, so let’s see if you can somehow skip the credits in Monster Hunter World.

The short and straightforward answer is no, you cannot skip the credits in Monster Hunter World. There is no way you can skip the credits scene when you finally finish the main set of quests and complete the story. You cannot skip it because the studio wanted you to take time and at least read some of the names that put their heart and soul into creating the game. While this is a good gesture, the problem most players have lies somewhere else.

You see, in Monster Hunter World, the game does not end when you finish the main story. There are still monsters that you can hunt down and keep playing for another thirty or forty hours. When the credits roll, and you are back in the game, the game doesn’t autosave. That means you have to watch the whole thing again when you come back later to play the game again. And that’s where you wish there was at least a skip button for the cutscene.

So, if you are reading this while the credits of MWH are rolling out and you cannot skip it, make sure you save your progress once the credits end. In the meantime, try to do something else if you don’t want to see the credits. For instance, check our website for fun articles or even some MWH guides if you missed something on your first playthrough.

Monster Hunter World is available for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S.
