This week, Candywriter is taking on a darker tone with its weekly challenge, and it’ll require us to do some pretty interesting things. Now picture this: Armageddon Cult. Still not impressed? How about compounds, SUVs, fallout shelters, and an armory? The end of the world might not be imminent, but you definitely need to make your followers think it is if you want a chance at completing the Doom & Gloom Challenge. Let’s check out the process now.

Before we jump right into completing the challenge, let’s check out the tasks we’re up against this week.

  1. Start an armageddon cult in Florida.
  2. Own a compound.
  3. Own 10+ SUVs
  4. Construct a fallout shelter and armory.
  5. Amass a following of 50,000+ people.

Before we start up our cult, we need to make sure we’re in Florida. This can be rather tricky since you can’t really choose your location without God Mode purchased. You’ll just need to randomize characters until you get one in the right location.

When you go to create your character for this challenge, you’ll want to make it up however you please. However, when it comes to the location where your character is born, you must choose the United States as the country, and Jacksonville, Miami, Orlando, or Tampa as the city.

Now, when it comes to starting an armageddon cult, you’ll need to age up until you are at least 18 and get a pretty good job. Without money, you’ll have some trouble starting up a cult and purchasing a compound for it. When we turned 18, we went to University for Religious Studies since it really can’t hurt. Whether or not this helps with running a cult is debatable, but it can’t hurt to try it out.

Once you’ve got a decent bit of money and you’re ready to start up your armageddon cult, head over to the Activities tab and select the Commune option. Inside the Commune menu, you’ll need to choose a plot to set up your compound on. If you choose to have a compound rather than a different building, you immediately complete the next task as well. Once you’ve chosen your plot, select your cult’s name and your Philosophy, which should be armageddon. From there, follow through the rest of the steps to start up your cult, and you’ll be ready to move on to the next step of the Doom & Gloom Challenge in BitLife.

Now that your cult is started and you’re making money off your followers, the next step is to begin purchasing SUVs. This can be done pretty easily by heading into the Assets tab and browsing the car dealerships. Purchase at least 10 vehicles that are marked as SUVs, then move on to the next task.

The next step is to take your compound to the next level with some Armageddon-esque constructs. We’ll need to construct a fallout shelter and armory. First, head over to the Activities tab, then access your Commune. From there, select your Compound above the Activities section of the menu. Choose the Construct option to begin constructing new structures at your compound. Be sure to construct a Fallout Shelter and an Armory.

How To Gain Followers for Your Cult in BitLife

Now that you’ve completed all the easy parts of the challenge, it’s time to get a few thousand or so more followers. This can be done in quite a few ways, though, it also happens passively over time as well. Though, the first step is to keep your followers happy and loyal. This can easily be done by hosting activities for them to participate in. Once that’s out of the way, start doing global outreach missions and continuing to interact with your followers. The more activities you partake in, the better your following will be until you’ve reached 50,000 followers and completed the Doom & Gloom Challenge in BitLife.

Jordan is an experienced fantasy writer who spends hours behind her laptop, and lost in the pages of a book. She strives to be a successful gaming blogger, and has no complaint about the hours of game time she used to increase her knowledge of all things “geek”. She primarily writes gaming articles and fantasy novels. Ark: Survival Evolved is a favorite, along with Diablo 3, Warframe and Minecraft lately, though you can’t forget the good old Magic the Gathering card game! Writing about games truly gives her joy as it gives her another perspective to look at games from, a reason to really look into the mechanics of the game.
