The Aftermarket Parts are the new tools you can use in Call of Duty‘s armory to upgrade weapons and change their stats. You can turn a pistol into an SMG, or make a heavy AR as mobile as an SMG. However, unlocking these parts requires completing tasks and objectives, not an exception for the Jak Beholder Rifle Kit in MW3 and Warzone. The Jak Beholder Rifle Kit is a conversion tool for the Tyr pistol, turning this small weapon into a deadly rifle in MW3 and Warzone.
Tyr Pistol Conversion Kit Unlocking Challenges
You can unlock the Jak Beholder Rifle Kit by completing Week 3 challenges in one of the three game mods of Warzone, MW3 Multiplayer, and MWZ.
Warzone Week 3 Challenges:
- Get 10 kills in the northwest region of the Urzikestan map.
- Kill 10 operators in the southern region of the Urzikestan map.
- Get 10 kills in the eastern region of the Urzikestan map.
- Complete 15 contracts in Warzone.
- Open 50 loot caches in Warzone.
- Get 10 kills in the central region of the Urzikestan map.
MW3 Multiplayer Jak Beholder Rifle Kit Week 3 Challenges:
- Get 25 assists with a recommended weapon.
- Get 25 kills with a recommended SMG.
- Kill 30 operators with a suppressed SMG.
- Kill 15 operators with a recommended weapon after having recently swapped weapons.
- Get 5 long-shot kills with the Rival-9 SMG.
- Get 25 kills while aiming down sights with a recommended SMG.
- Kill 30 operators with the Rival-9 SMG.
- Get 25 headshots with a recommended SMG.
MW3 Zombies Week 3 Challenges:
- Complete 10 contracts.
- Kill 3 Disciples with a recommended weapon.
- Get 300 kills with a silenced recommended weapon.
- Get 300 kills with a pack-a-punched Rival-9.
- Kill 300 zombies while aiming down sights with a recommended SMG.
- Get 300 kills with Rival-9 SMG.
- Get 300 critical kills with a recommended SMG.
Is Jak Beholder Rifle Kit Unlock Still Bugged in Warzone and MW3?
As of this writing, the Jak Beholder Rifle Kit for the Tyr pistol is bugged and can not be equipped in MW3, Warzone, or MWZ mode. This issue is for all the players, and there’s no particular workaround to fix it until the developers resolve the problem.
You can still do the challenges and unlock the Tyr pistol’s conversion kit, but the attachment can not be found in the gunsmith menu. Some players have claimed that this is because it’d be a one-shot rifle in the game, changing the balance of the current meta, while the developers are yet to respond to this in-game problem. Presumably, a hotfix will be released for this issue with the Jak Beholder Rifle Kit in MW3 and Warzone, before the Season 1 Reloaded update.
