Travis Kelce has been very open about his relationship with Taylor Swift. The Kansas City Chiefs tight end seemingly never misses a chance to gush over her super-famous girlfriend. However, the athlete recently made a surprising comment about feeling some pressure as the romantic Valentine’s Day holiday quickly approaches. The NFL star has never been accused of lacking confidence. However, he may be worried about choosing the perfect gift for his girl.
During Kelce’s New Heights podcast on Wednesday, he jokingly admitted that he may not be prepared for Valentine’s Day with Swift. He and his co-host, brother Jason Kelce, talked about Valentine’s Day during one of their promotional segments.

“With both of us playing in the NFL for so many years, we’ve learned a thing or two about competition,” the Kansas City fan-favorite said during the ad. “Whether you’re feeling the Valentine’s Day pressure like Jason and I, or trying to figure out the right gift for a significant other, Etsy is the go-to destination for adding that special touch,” he added.
The brothers went on to dish on Valentine’s Day plans. Travis Kelce kept mostly silent on what he was planning with Taylor Swift. However, Jason Kelce admitted that he’s not exactly the romantic type. “I usually do it last second, just like every other man out here on the planet. I usually get the same chocolates every year. The same flowers and a card,” he said. Travis mocked his older brother for his lack of effort.
While it’s unclear what Kelce and Swift will be up to on February 14, fans will certainly be interested to find out if the football player planned a romantic, over-the-top surprise for the singer. Unfortunately, this may add to the pressure that he feels. Hopefully, he doesn’t take a page from his brother’s book and fumble the pair’s first Valentine’s Day together.
