Konami has just announced that its flagship eFootball game has crossed a very impressive 700 million total downloads over its life. To celebrate this milestone, the publisher is bringing events and surprises for fans of the game, including a new Championship Club Event. Konami will also launch a new in-game campaign in eFootball with a lot of new features, set tol last from January 11 to February 1, 2024.
During these few weeks, players will be given special log-in bonuses in the form of Player of the Week (POTW) rewards. Players can claim one per week and three in total. Fans will also get 1 Worldwide Chance Deal every single day as a log-in bonus as well during the stipulated period.
eFootball Crosses 700 Million Downloads – New Rewards
Other than the log-in bonuses that players can claim during this period, users can also enter different Tour Events, Challenge Events, and eFootball Leagues. Players can potentially earn 200,000 GP, 210 eFootball Coins, and much more.
eFootball Championship Club Event: FC Bayern München
At the end of last year in December 2023, Konami released details regarding a change to its main esports tournaments introducing the eFootball Championship Club Event. These events will allow players from around the world to compete in regional competitions in the beginning, which will then lead to a final which will decide who will represent the competing clubs. The FC Bayern München Club Event is set to start from Monday, January 15, 2024.
AFC Asian Cup Qatar 2023 Commemorative Campaign
Konami has partnered up with the Asian Football Confederation, which is why eFootball will include a special log-in gift of ten different Chance Deals from ten Asian teams competing in the Asian Cup Qatar 2023. Along with that, three players from Malaysia, Thailand, and Indonesia will also be joining.
In December 2023, eFootball launched version 3.2.0, which introduced a host of new features including the new My League game mode, evolutions co-op mode, and new log-in mini-games as well.
