Palworld is a great sandbox survival game that takes influences from many different beloved games. In this game, you can capture Pals in the wild that each has different abilities, traits, and characteristics. In addition to Pals, there are also Human NPCs in this game, both friendly and hostile. However, contrary to expectations, you can also capture Human NPCs in Palworld, regardless of whether they are friendly or not. But there are some very important things you need to know before you capture them.

Yes, you can capture Human NPCs in Palworld, but doing so will not help you in most cases. The reason for this is that the chances of capturing a Human in a Pal Sphere are pretty low, especially if the level of the Human you are trying to capture is high. If you really want to catch a person, you need to use a Green or Purple colored Pal Sphere. The reason why we say that capturing Humans in Palworld will be useless most of the time is that the NPCs you capture will not have different characteristics, unlike your Pals.

Their fighting skills are poor, and they are only capable of Handiwork. There’s only one situation where you want to capture a Human, and that’s if they are merchants. There are different types of merchants in the game such as Black Marketeers, Wandering Merchants, and Pal Merchants. When you capture them, you can summon them at your base whenever you want and you can trade with them. Other than that, there is no point in capturing ordinary Human NPCs such as Villagers.
