But it looks like they may have taken things a bit too far.

TLC viewers have been with Amy Slaton through her marital issues this season. Her family has stepped up to help her deal with her split from her husband, Michael Halterman, her postpartum depression, and all the stress she is dealing with.
The family thought a beach vacation would be a perfect getaway to spend quality family time together and help Amy get her mind off her marital problems. Things were going pretty well until her family members all took it upon themselves to offer their 1000-Lb Sisters co-star Amy Slaton some wisdom on parenting.
Too Many Bossy Siblings
Amy Slaton of 1000-Lb Sisters tried to keep her cool when all the so-called advice began piling up. Everyone had some opinion on everything she did with her children. It was too much for Amy, and she started to get overwhelmed.
The TLC star left their family dinner table to get her youngest son, Glenn, down for a nap. When she returned, she wanted to get Gage to eat dinner. But, he is at that picky age, and she claims some days it is a real chore. So Amy Slaton fixes a plate and takes it to the living room, where Gage plays. But not before Amanda Halterman warns her not to feed him on the sofa of their rented vacation home.
During Amanda’s confession, she said that she believes her sister wants everyone’s opinion to help make her life easier. Amanda Halterman also says she believes her 1000-Lb Sisters co-star Amy Slaton tends to pick up on the hints they are dropping about her life just a little too slowly.
Her family, especially her sister Tammy Slaton, are there to help Amy Slaton through the difficult times. But that being said, they admit they want to and will help. But they do not want to do everything for her, especially raise her kids.
