Miley Cyrus might have a wild reputation as far as pop stars are concerned, but even she’s got standards when it comes to the paparazzi. Cyrus, 31, attended the 31st Grammy Awards on Sunday and, after bagging her first Grammy, got to strut her stuff on the red carpet, as celebrities do. But as she was walking the red carpet, Miley Cyrus noticed that instead of using professional cameras, some of the photographers were using their iPhones – and she did not shy away from calling them out for it.
Miley Cyrus Spots iPhones While Walking Red Carpet: “What Is That?”
The 66th Grammy Awards took place this past weekend in LA, and Miley Cyrus was, of course, in attendance. The pop star was spotted wearing a sheer metal dress, matching the two Grammys she took home Best Pop Solo Performance and Record of the Year, out of her six nominations. Walking down the red carpet with a coiffed updo, Miley Cyrus was seen scanning the sea of photographers in front of her, seeming surprised as she exclaimed:
“iPhones? What is that?”

We’re not sure whether she was offended or confused about the paparazzi using smartphones instead of professional cameras, but that wasn’t her only opportunity to be hilarious at the Grammys. First, she took home the Grammy for Best Solo Pop Performance for her hit song “Flowers,” having an opportunity to perform the same song with a slight lyric change:
“Started to cry, then remembered I just won my first Grammy!”

In the same performance, Miley had a little bit of trouble getting fans hyped for her award-winning break-up anthem, and while she was singing, she asked the crowd,
“Why are y’all acting like you don’t know this song?”

This is a fair point, if you ask us, since she won not one but two Grammys for that exact song, both Best Pop Solo Performance and Record of the Year. This officially marks Miley Cyrus’s first Grammys win, fifteen years after her solo career began, and at least it was a memorable occasion, right?
