In a new interview with Architectural Digest at his home in Nashville, Tennessee, Johnny Galecki has confirmed he has married a woman named Morgan. She has appeared on Galecki’s Instagram, although no one knew the extent of their relationship until now.

Additionally, Morgan was pregnant at the time of the visit to Walt Disney World back in January 2023. They have since welcomed a child together named Oona Evelena.

Once The Big Bang Theory had ended, Galecki took an extended break from acting. In fact, he hasn’t appeared in any projects — be it film or television — since 2019. The sitcom’s final episode aired on May 16, 2019, along with a special episode titled “Unraveling the Mystery: A Big Bang Farewell.” In the one-off episode, Galecki sits down with co-star Kaley Cuoco to recap on the show’s most memorable moments.

Galecki explained to Architectural Digest, “I think this is the first interview I’ve agreed to do in almost four years, and it’s purely because I’m excited to rave about Emily [Ward] and Louisa [Pierce].”

“I never felt like much of an Angeleno,” he said, referring to his time spend among the Hollywood bigwigs. “And I did try. I say that with sadness, not with snobbery. Thirty years is just a very long time to live in a city that you’re not all that comfortable in.”

Additionally, Galecki thanked Architectural Digest “for the lovely profile on the beautiful backdrop of our lives as they stand and smile today. We will place it in our family time capsule and cherish it for many, many years.”

The 48-year-old has enjoyed a long and prosperous career thus far. Aside from his most famous role as Dr. Leonard Hofstadter on The Big Bang Theory, Galecki has appeared in the ABC sitcom Roseanne, as well as the films Prancer, National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation, I Know What You Did Last Summer, and Rings.

At one point in time, Galecki was one of the highest-paid actors in the industry. His role in The Big Bang Theory earned him approximately $900,000 per episode between 2017 and 2019.

For now, it seems that Galecki is keeping his private life out of the public spotlight and enjoying his semi-retirement to raise his son and new daughter.
