Hollywood A-listers Taylor Swift and Blake Lively prove to the masses that despite fame and fortune, they’re just as human as the rest of us. And if there’s one universal language for humans, it’s music. More specifically, Post Malone’s music.
Despite attending many other NFL games alone, Swift decided to bring along some friends to Super Bowl LVIII. The 14-time Grammy winner was joined by both A Simple Favor actress Blake Lively and rapping sensation Ice Spice.
Swift and Lively Laugh It Off
Before Super Bowl LVIII began, Post Malone was appointed the singer of “America the Beautiful,” whereas the Queen of Country — Reba McEntire — was tasked with performing the national anthem. As The Independent confirms, both Swift and Lively were captured briefly on the television cameras as they sang along to Malone’s rendition. Lively subsequently points out the cameras, earning a laugh from Swift.
Both stars were in attendance to support Swift’s boyfriend, Travis Kelce, who helped the Chiefs secure a victory against the 49ers and become concurrent Super Bowl winners.
Due to Swift’s relationship with Travis Kelce, the NFL broke viewership, merchandise, and ticket sales for the 2023-2024 season, given how highly publicized the couple has been.
The Chiefs Make History
Although the 49ers looked to have secured the Super Bowl win, the Chiefs pulled back the score in the second half. In the end, Mahomes found Mecole Hardman for the game-winning score.
The Chiefs became the first team to win back-to-back Super Bowls since the New England Patriots in 2004.
Ryan Reynolds Banters With His Wife
Actor Ryan Reynolds capitalized on the popularity of Super Bowl LVIII by dropping a preview for Deadpool 3. He simultaneously acknowledged his wife’s attendance with Taylor Swift.
“Has everyone seen the #Deadpool trailer?” he captioned an Instagram photo. He added: “Also, has anyone seen my wife?”
Reynolds and Lively have been married since 2012 and share four children: James, 9; Inez, 7; Betty, 4; and a fourth child whose name is unknown to the public.
Lana Del Rey and Keleigh Teller were also in attendance.
