The next Pokemon Presents has been officially announced and will be arriving before the end of February. Theories are already wildly circulating about what major news could be coming in this batch of reveals, with some seeming far more plausible than others. Game Freak has been teasing toward something related to the Gen 5 Pokemon Black and White games or Unova for some time now. Could this be the big reveal of the next major main-series remakes?

The official news of the upcoming Pokemon Presents hit Twitter/X very recently. As usual, almost nothing with regards to the content of the Pokemon Presents is hinted at. Sometimes, in the past, fans have been told how long a Pokemon Presents will be so they can properly prepare for the amount of information being given, but this time, not even that much has been let out.

There will likely be at least some time dedicated to revealing more details about the renewal of the Netflix show Pokemon Concierge for another season, a fact that got its official announcement fairly recently. The main thing fans are hoping to see, though, is the reveal of whatever Unova-related content Game Freak has been teasing. Not long ago, the official Pokemon Twitter/X account made two tweets, one showing off Reshiram and one showing off Zekrom, the two mascot legendaries of Pokemon Black and White.

Most theorize that this means remakes of those games are coming. That would make sense since Gen 5 is the next in line for remakes after the Gen 4 Pokemon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl remakes in 2021. Others believe that the next Pokemon Legends game may be set in ancient Unova, though.

The next Pokemon Presents event is going live on February 27th at 6 a.m. PST and 9 a.m. EST.
