Exploring an infinite number of planets and systems across the galaxy in No Man’s Sky is fun, but it might get boring if all you do is just discover things. Therefore, it would be amazing to check some systems that are more dangerous, such as outlaw systems. If you don’t know where they are, here is how to find Outlaw Systems in No Man’s Sky.

The outlaw systems in No Man’s Sky are usually controlled by pirates and dangerous to visit. Therefore, there must be a way to realize or, in this case, actually find the outlaw systems in the game. Finding the outlaw systems is easy in the game as long as you have the right tools for it.

As you progress through the game, you can install various gears and equipment, such as scanners, on your ship. You will need an Economy Scanner and a Conflict Scanner to locate the outlaw systems. First, you have to spend 150 Nanite Clusters each to purchase the blueprint for them.

After you’ve purchased the blueprints from the Anomaly vendor on the ship, you will get a list of required items to build the scanners. So you have to search for those items if you don’t have them already. Once you’ve built and downloaded both scanners, it is time to check the solar map.

Now that you have the scanners, when you look for a system to land on, you can see the Conflict status of that system. If it is an outlaw system, there will be a Skull icon and, next to it, something like Pirate Controlled. That is your outlaw system, which you can use to gather resources.

To recap, you can find outlaw systems in No Man’s Sky by:

  1. Buy an Economy Scanner and a Conflict Scanner.
  2. Check the solar map for the Conflict status of a system.
  3. Look for pirate-controlled outlaw systems with skull icons.
