Many might have already hung up the Q Watch, but it is time to grab it and get back into action. Just like the many ongoing updates for Hitman, 007 First Light just got its first one, and it is packed with things to do for fans of this spy thriller. So, get your equipment ready and head to Q-Lab because it is time to delve into TacSim one more time to complete a few challenges and earn some rewards fit for a spy.
007 First Light Adds New Rewards As Part of Its First Update
007 First Light has launched its first update, titled “Behind Enemy Lines.” In it, players can tackle new challenges in TacSim. You’ll get to play a new Escalation called “The Workshop,” where you’ll need to eliminate enemies silently and quickly. There is also a new mission called “Extraction Avenues, ” where your sole objective is getting out of this place before reinforcements arrive. How you do it is up to you, but from what we’ve seen in the trailer, the best option might be using some brute force and Bond’s marksmanship skills.
Of course, there are rewards tied to these new additions, such as the following:
- Stormberg 50’cal (Clearance Level 10 – 3000 Intel)
- DRX-2 Machine Pistol (Clearance Level 12 – 3000 Intel)
- DRS-7 Silenced SMG (Clearance Level 16 – 3000 Intel)
- New TacSim Outfit – Diamond in the Rough (Clearance Level 18 – 3000 Intel)
Naturally, you’ll have to grind a bit to get the above rewards, but if you’ve been playing the game regularly, chances are you’ll be able to obtain all of them shortly.
Besides that, IO Interactive released the update’s patch notes, and there are also several fixes coming with this patch. You can read them here.
So far, the community is happy with this update, as it took a while to get anything after launch. Yet, many are hoping that the update cadence will improve and will eventually reach similar levels to those of Hitman. In the meantime, however, there are still many things to do in the game, such as completing challenges, clearing the game in different difficulties, trying to reach 100% in all levels, and more.
