Prime Video has set a return date for one of its best shows. The Boys season 4 has set a June 13 release date. The return of the superhero series comes with a new poster featuring Homelander (Antony Starr) and Victoria Neuman (Claudia Doumit) as they go on a political campaign that affects the world (seen below).
When The Boys hits its summer release date, we will have our most intense season yet. The stakes have never been higher as the United States has never been more divided about its superhero dilemma. While Victoria sets her sights on the big seat in The White House with Homelander pulling strings, the team of non-supes is divided as Butcher (Karl Urban) is out of being the leader. They must find a way to work it out to stop the supes from gaining not just fantastical power but political supremacy.
The Boys Season 4 Release Date Prepares Us for More Gory Action
The Emmy-winning series has been slowly growing out its world beyond the mainline show. Last year saw the premiere of Gen V, a college-based series that showed a new light on what life is like for young supes. An untitled Mexico-located series is currently in development with Blue Beetle writer Gareth Dunnet-Alcocer and actors Diego Luna and Gael Garcia Bernal. It is not confirmed if the two stars will be in the series or are staying as executive producers.
The plan for now is to keep the shows fairly connected. Season 3 of the main series connected to Gen V in some major ways. The spinoff will connect to season 4 when The Boys returns. When that concludes, it will tie into Gen V season 2.
The Boys season 4 welcomes Susan Heyward, Valorie Curry, and Jeffrey Dean Morgan. They join returning stars Starr, Urban, Doumit, Jack Quaid, Erin Moriarty, Jessie T. Usher, Laz Alonso, Chace Crawford, Tomer Capone, Karen Fukuhara, Colby Minifie, and Cameron Crovetti.
