Besides regular monsters, you can also encounter numerous powerful automatons as you explore the Fae realms. Fabled Automaton Knight is likely the first automaton boss you face on your journey, but you can also find Automaton Bishops. They are usually located in the Desert biome and won’t become aggressive unless you attack them first. If you wish to hunt this enemy, we will share the easiest way to beat Automaton Bishop in Nightingale.

How To Beat Automaton Bishop in Nightingale

Automaton Bishop is a powerful enemy in Nightingale that can easily kill you with its deadly laser attack. Not only that, but you also have to deal with several small automatons that will hit you simultaneously.

The easiest way to beat Automaton Bishop is by attacking its weak spot, which is the large orb at the center of its body. I highly recommend using ranged weapons and hitting the enemy from far away.

Here are some weapons that you can use to beat Automaton Bishop in Nightingale:

  • Slingbow
  • Lancaster Pistol
  • Chassepot Rifle
  • Smoothbore Shotgun
  • Lee Metford Rifle
  • Eclair ‘Paradox’ Shotgun
  • Porter Pistol
  • Webley Revolver
  • Winchester Rifle

If you’re a new player, you will only have access to Slingbow, which is quite slow and weak. You should try to unlock the Lancaster Pistol before you attempt to hunt Automaton Bishops. The Forest Provisioner Essence Trader will sell the blueprint for 15 T1 Essence.

At the start of the fight, I recommend prioritizing attacking the small automatons that protect the Automaton Bishop in Nightingale. While they won’t deal as much damage, they can be quite annoying if you don’t quickly take them down.

Once the Automaton Bishop is alone, you can start hitting the blue orb in its hands. The opponent’s primary method of attack is the powerful laser, but it can also shoot small projectiles at you.

You should keep your distance and stay in an open space that allows you to dodge oncoming attacks easily. On the other hand, you may also use the environment and find cover to protect yourself from damage.

If you run out of ammo, you may consider using melee weapons to attack the Automaton Bishop in Nightingale. They can deal decent damage to the enemy, but this tactic will leave you vulnerable to attacks, so ensure you have ample healing potions to survive.
