All Classes in Ragnarok Origin ROO, Explained

Graduate from the Novice Academy and you’ll be able to pick your Job 1 or the first tier Class. Ragnarok Origin ROO provides you with six different main Jobs or Classes, all with their unique Skills, even if half are equipped with melee weapons. Based on their skills, there are basically four archetypes of Mage builds; Fire Mage, Cold Mage, Thunder Mage, and the versatile Bolt Mage. While the former three focus on each of three different elemental damages, Bolt Mages will want to base their attacks on the basic-but-fast-casting Bolt spells.

Afterward, Mages can evolve their magical prowess further into AOE master Wizard or the single-target destroyer Sage as the Job 2. Here are the three most important stats to focus on if you pick this Ragnarok Origin ROO Class as well as their Skills:

Sometimes, the best defense is the best offense, and that’s where a support healer comes in. Essential for any dungeon raids, Acolyte is the only Class in Ragnarok Origin ROO that can heal other players. However, that doesn’t mean they can’t take care of themselves either. With proper stat progression, you can make a tough Battle Acolyte build that deals fast physical damage or devastating magical Holy damage.

Later on, you can maximize your support potential as a Priest. Or you can also choose the path of violence by becoming a Monk. These are the three main stats to pivot to, while STR can be picked if you want to make a DPS build:

• INT: Increases max SP, MATK, magical damage reduction, SP recovery, and reduces skill casting time.
• DEX: Reduces skill casting time.
• VIT: Increases health, health recovery, and physical and magical damage reduction.

  • Heal (Active): Restores a targeted teammate HP. Can be used to damage Undeads.
    • Angelus (Active): Temporarily buffs teammate’s Defense. Cannot stack with Blow Whistle or Singing Voice.
      • Kyrie Eleison: Gives temporary shield on a targeted teammate. Will be removed when attacked with Holy damage. Cannot stack with Deafening Wardrum and Assumptio.
  • Teleport (Active): Opens a portal to teleport to another location. Can be entered by other players.
  • Ruwach (Active): Reveals hidden enemies for 30 seconds.

Thief, The Squishy Main DPS Class

Master of stealth and surprise attacks, Thief is your main DPS Class in Ragnarok Origin ROO. Thanks to the Double Attack passive, you have a chance to deal damage twice with normal attacks. Add Increase Dodge and Shield Dodge to the mix, and you can easily pump out damage while avoiding enemy attacks.

A Thief can progress to the single-target decimator Assassin or Rogue Class that excels at PvP at Level 70 in Ragnarok Origin ROO. There are only three stats that you need to fill up to maximize your DPS:

• STR: Increases damage and inventory.
• AGI: Increases physical damage reduction, attack speed, and dodge chances (FLEE).
• DEX: Increases magical and physical damage reduction, attack speed, and accuracy (HIT), and reduces skill casting time.

    • Trick Control (Active): AOE damage to surrounding enemies.

  • Envenom (Active): Applies a small amount of damage and Poisons the target.
  • Shield Dodge (Active): Increases dodge chance for a short amount of time.
  • Hiding (Active): Hides from enemies.
  • Detoxify (Active): Heals Poison from yourself and surrounding teammates.
  • Back Slide (Active): Hops backward and gives temporary MSPD buff.

Merchant, The Dealer of Death of Ragnarok Origin ROO

Sure, it sounds silly that a Merchant is considered a main Class in Ragnarok Origin ROO. In other MMOs, trading is mostly reserved for secondary or sub-class, but you can’t undermine their abilities!

Aside from controlling the crafted-item economy, the Axe user Class can literally spend money to unleash massive damage with Mammonite. Interestingly, Mammonite is actually free to use until Level 31, so you should abuse it as often as you can before reaching that point. Carrying a truckload of items in your Cart will also increase the AOE damage of Cart Revolution.

This unique Ragnarok Origin ROO Class can evolve into the master craftsman Blacksmith or the grenade and Homonculus user Alchemist as its Job 2. Below are the stats you should focus on as a Merchant and all their Skills:

• STR: Increases damage and inventory.
• AGI: Increases physical damage reduction, attack speed, and dodge chances (FLEE).
• All Merchant Job Skills in Ragnarok Origin ROO:
  • Cart Use (Passive): Obtain a Merchant Cart.
    • Cart Revolution (Active): AOE attack that is affected by the Cart’s weight.
    • Cart Clash (Active): Run down a target and up to 10 enemies along the way, reducing their speed. The Cart’s weight affects damage.
  • Mammonite (Active): Spend Eden Coins to deal a huge amount of damage. Free of charge until Base Level 30.
  • Full Force Swipe (Active): Single-target damage then ignores the enemy’s Physical Defense temporarily.
  • Cart Modification (Passive): Increases Cart storage space. Can change Cart’s look once reaching a certain level.
  • Enlarge Weight Limit (Passive): Increases weight limit by 200 and Cart Revolution damage by 1%.
  • Crazy Uproar (Passive): Increases STR by 4 points.
  • Discount (Passive): Gains discount when purchasing some items at Kafra Shop. The daily limit is 1 million Eden Coins.
  • Overcharge (Passive): Gains bonus revenue when selling some items at Kafra Shop. The daily limit is 1 million Eden Coins.
