Olympic gymnast McKayla Maroney let her Instagram fans know that she’s a “hopeless romantic” as she shared stunning snapshots while rocking a thigh-highs look in February 2022. The 28-year-old stunned her followers as she posed in an edgy brown look comprised of an unusual miniskirt complete with a thigh buckle, and fans left her over 71,000 likes.
Ditching her signature leotard for a stylish ensemble as she posted two photos, McKayla flicked her hair in the first snap, making fans swipe to see the full outfit. McKayla boasts 1.3 million followers on Instagram and is followed by stars including actress Bella Thorne and fellow Olympic gymnast Simone Biles.

Captivating fans as she posed amid hardwood floors and using both hands to flick her long dark locks, McKayla showed off her fit figure in a pleated, brown leather miniskirt with a silver buckle detail.
Adding in a stylish, short-sleeved shirt in a darker shade of brown, the Miage Beauty partner drew the eye to her slim waist as she flashed hints of her legs, then returning for a full show of her outfit.
Says She’s A ‘Hopeful Romantic’
Thrilling fans with a leggy display in her second photo, McKayla was photographed climbing a few steps as she hid her face, this time showing off her legs and brown thigh boots as she rocked a high heel.
In a caption, the gymnast wrote: “Hopeful romantic.” Fans left over 71,000 likes, calling Maroney “beautiful” and showering her with heart emoji. Fashion display aren’t unusual on McKayla’s Instagram and have even included designers including Kardashian-adored Louis Vuitton and Gucci, fronted by singer Miley Cyrus.
McKayla may not collaborate with any fashion brands, but she has got her GEICO ad under her belt. She’s also got her Miage Beauty lip gloss collab, something she announced in 2022.
“Ecstatic to be announcing my partnership with Miage Skincare today!! We just launched our lip gloss, with SPF and baby it’s the best-tasting lip gloss in the game. It tastes like those thin mint girl scout cookies, mixed with the warmest vanilla. I dare you to get it,” the brunette told her fans as she posed in Palm Springs and poolside while showing off her merchandise.
McKayla is best known for her appearance at the London 2012 Olympics. She retired from professional gymnastics in 2016, but remains active on her Instagram alongside running her lesser-known Glowy by McKayla Instagram.
