Despite Nadinia’s popularity in Bakbattahl, there are still a lot of people who want to get rid of the Empress. Things got to the point where she was almost assassinated when performing a prayer in front of the public. While Manella was able to protect Nadinia, the head of Lambent Flame received a heavy wound. Seeing that she is unfit to guard the Empress properly, Manella asks the Arisen for help. To complete the Shadowed Prayers side quest in Dragon’s Dogma 2, you must find and capture the assassin hiding in the crowd.

How To Find the Assassin in Dragon’s Dogma 2 Shadowed Prayers Quest

You can start the Shadowed Prayers side quest in Dragon’s Dogma 2 by speaking with Manella at the entrance to Bakbattahl castle. The beastren will ask you to return the next morning. You can fast-forward the time by sleeping at an inn or dozing off on a bench.

Then, you can return to the castle and speak with Manella again. She will give you a description of the assassin that you must capture. The man you are seeking has a scar on his right arm, and his hair is tied back.

You can find the assassin kneeling on the right side of the stairs. A man with a similar build and hairstyle will sit before him, but he has no scar on his arm. If you have trouble locating your target, you can turn on your lamp for better lighting.
