Type Soul is a game all about combat, but there are moments when you want to catch a break from all the chaos. While resting in the safe areas or chatting with fellow players, Roblox Type Soul allows you to perform emote commands, adding personality to your character. Whether greeting new friends, showing off your dance moves, or celebrating Faction’s victory, emotes will improve how you interact with the community.

Doing an emote in Type Soul is done by typing the “/e” command followed by the emote name on the chat box. For example, if you want to make your character sit, then open the chat box, write “/e rest”, and press Enter. We also have compiled the complete list of all the emote commands in the table below.

You can unsheathe and sheathe your weapon while performing an emote in Type Soul. You can also still do Mouse Click attacks while doing emotes, but Criticals will cancel the move.

If you’re one of the Type Soul players looking for the emote for laying down, it seems the “/e lay” command has been removed. While SamuelGoyard’s July 2023 video below showcases the emote, now, if you type it in the chat your character will not perform anything. On the Discord server, players have been complaining non-stop since August 2023 when the emote was removed from the game.

Roblox Type Soul is available for PC, mobile devices, PlayStation, and Xbox.
