C.J. Snare, the renowned lead singer and keyboard player of the hard rock band FireHouse, passed away on Friday, April 5, at the age of 64, after an arduous battle with cancer for a very long time. The devastating news for fans was announced by his daughter. Snare had colon cancer which was at an incurable stage, but the actual cause of death was confirmed as cardiac arrest.
Snare was one of the founders of the FireHouse band, and had been a part of it for almost 40 years, making innumerable fans over his rock music career. His contributions to the group were immeasurable. During their career, FireHouse amassed a massive list of achievements, including seven singles that topped the Billboard Hot 100 charts. Among these hits were iconic songs, which will be instantly recognizable to fans, such as “Love of a Lifetime,” which peaked at No. 5 in 1991, and “When I Look Into Your Eyes,” which claimed the No. 8 spot back in 1992.
