You’re allowed to have a house in No Rest for the Wicked though you’re going to have to go through some hoops and a rather high hurdle. Still, it’s worth it, and here’s how to get a house in No Rest for the Wicked.
No Rest for the Wicked House Location & Requirements
The house or houses that will become available to you in No Rest for the Wicked are all located in the city of Sacrament. You’ll be able to customize these houses to your liking with the right furniture. Moreover, it’s a good place in which to spend your crafting resources.
Like I said earlier, however, getting a No Rest for the Wicked house is quite the ordeal. Here are the requirements and how to finish them.
- Get to the city of Sacrament by defeating Warrick the Torn.
- Progress the main quest until you’re tasked with the quest ‘Of Rats and Raiders.’
- Head to The Black Trench (sewer levels) as per the quest.
- Find and defeat Falstead Darak in The Black Trench.
- Once you have defeated Falstead, you will now be able to purchase houses in Sacrament. Head back to the city and open your map. The house locations will be shown there.
It doesn’t end there, however, as there are different types of houses in No Rest for the Wicked. They are also quite pricey and it might take you a while to purchase them.
Types of Houses in No Rest for the Wicked
You can take your pick among the three houses or buy them all. The more expensive they are, the prettier and bigger, of course. These are the three choices you have along with their price:
- The Roost (20 Silver)
- The Homestead (25 Silver)
- The Manor (30 Silver)
Even the cheapest one will set you back a lot, and you might need to sell a few good weapons and armor to buy it. Are they worth it, however? For aesthetics, that’s up to you. For practicality’s sake, don’t pick The Roost as it’s a little too far from the Whisper in Sacrament.
The Homestead has a better location as it’s just right across the Whisper, the War Room, and the shops. Now, since the game is still in early access, these houses might change or some better options might occur. For now, take your pick among the three.
