Jelly Roll is undeniably one of the nicest guys in the entertainment industry. He also shares many personal moments with his fans online. The star has used social media to reflect on how far he has come, celebrate the people he loves, and document his milestones. But fans may notice that the Save Me musician will be far less active online in the future, and his wife, Bunnie Xo, has opened up about why this is.
What Did Bunnie Xo Say About Jelly Roll’s Weight?
Bunnie Xo and Jelly Roll have a beautiful relationship, and she is arguably his biggest supporter. She is also quick to defend him when people make unkind remarks. In a recent clip from her Dumb Blonde podcast, which was posted on TikTok, she addressed how her Jelly Roll’s weight had become the topic of many conversations and the impact it has had on him.
“My husband got off the internet because he is so tired of being bullied about his f***ing weight, and that makes me want to cry, because he is the sweetest angel baby,” she said. “My husband doesn’t show it to you guys, but I’m going to have a very vulnerable moment here. It hurts him.”
She continued, “The internet can say whatever the f*** they want about you and they say, ‘You’re a celebrity. You’re supposed to be able to handle it.’ No the f*** we’re not,” she added. “Enough is enough.” Bunnie Xo makes an excellent point about how celebrities are treated just because they choose to live their lives in the spotlight. Later in the clip, she also discussed the mental impact of bullying and how damaging it is.
Will Jelly Roll’s Weight Cause Him To Quit The Internet?
“Don’t bully people, because you never know where they are mentally. There are a lot of people who are not as strong as me, that are on the internet, and they don’t deserve to f***in’ be bullied,” she said.
Bunnie Xo is a woman who is not afraid to speak her mind and let people know exactly what she thinks of them. She is also always going to support her husband. Still, it’s a sad day when she has to make a statement about bullying because it’s gotten so bad.
