To think that out of everything that could survive the nuke apocalypse in Fallout 76, Garden Gnomes stand as tall (or as short) as ever, proving that they’re as sly as they look. Several of them are hanging out either solo or in groups scattered around Appalachia. They’re excellent for scrapping. But they’re also necessary for certain challenges. Thankfully, there are several Fallout 76 Garden Gnome locations you can check out.

In Fallout 76, you’ll find three types of Garden Gnomes:

  • Red
  • Blue
  • Broken

No matter which one you find, they all count for the same thing. So, you can discover several red Garden Gnome locations in Fallout 76 and still accomplish any challenge. Plus, each offers the same scraps of x1 Ceramic and x3 Concrete.

You can search more than a dozen areas for Garden Gnomes. However, if you’re on a public server, there’s a strong chance you might not find them. This is only because other players may have snatched them up first. If that’s the case, all you have to do is reload into a new server, or you can start a private server by subscribing to a Fallout 1st membership.

No matter how you go about it, the best garden gnome location in Fallout 76 has to be in Huntersville. Note that this area tends to have super mutants. So, if you aren’t prepped to deal with those, you can just as easily sneak inside and grab what you need.

Once you navigate beyond the welcoming sign and enter the town, turn right toward the first house you see. Head to the backyard, where you’ll find a Gnome hanging out by himself. But that’s not all we’re after. Beyond him in the shed toward the back is a host of Garden Gnomes just waiting for you to discover them.

  • Cow Spots Creamery (Forest region)
  • Flatwoods (Forest region)
  • General’s Steakhouse (Cranberry Bog region)
