With undead hordes swarming at every angle, will you face them alone or with friends? In Sker Ritual, you can do either one. But it’s always nice to have a team at your side. That begs the question then of whether Sker Ritual also has crossplay compatibility. Perhaps you and your friends don’t all play on the same system. In that case, there is still a way for some of you to jump into the horror survivor together.
Crossplay Compatibility in Sker Ritual
So, there is some excitement to appreciate. Sker Ritual is crossplay compatible between PC and Xbox players. Unfortunately, PlayStation players will currently miss out as the devs explained the complications behind adding crossplay with PS5 thrown in the mix. If you’re on that side of the fence, you may have to wait for some time as there’s no set window on when it will be implemented.
How To Use the Crossplay Feature
Don’t sharpen your zombie-killing weapons just yet. Right now, Sker Ritual players report that the crossplay feature is bugged. There’s no in-game function for PC and Xbox players to connect directly. So, people have attempted to go around this by having PC players join in via the Xbox App and inviting friends through that means. For Steam players, there’s no such luck. Some have reported being able to play with each other by hopping into a public match simultaneously, but that’s a stroke of luck.
You can still enjoy the crossplay feature in Sker Ritual, but you might only find yourself in a room filled with randoms. It’s essentially a waiting game now for when the devs may add an easier or more direct method of adding friends so PC and Xbox players can reap the full benefits of crossplay.
Sker Ritual is available on PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S.
