Sheila Carter has once again risen from the ashes on The Bold and the Beautiful. Like many soap opera characters, she’s had brushes with death, but returned alive and well. Back in February, everyone thought Sheila was dead after Steffy Forrester stabbed her. But thanks to the detective work of Deacon Sharpe, Sheila was discovered to be alive. Something that didn’t surprise most viewers.
The Bold and the Beautiful Fans Knew Sheila Was Alive
Sheila is a famous soap opera villain, who’s been part of The Bold and the Beautiful for 32 years. She’s made many enemies, including her daughter-in-law Steffy. If anyone was to end Sheila’s reign of terror, Steffy was the likely suspect.
When Steffy killed Sheila in an act of self-defense, everyone breathed a sigh of relief. However, Sheila’s fiancé Deacon realized something was amiss when the body had ten toes instead of nine. Deacon began digging into his fiancée’s past and learned about her doppelganger Sugar. On the Apr. 29 episode, Deacon’s search concluded with him and Finn discovering Sheila alive in a warehouse.
While the writers think they pulled a shocking twist, many viewers consider it a let down. On a Reddit thread, The Bold and the Beautiful fans discussed the predictable outcome of Sheila being alive.
One commenter simply said:
We knew this was going to happen. Bell can’t leave the Sheila well dry.

One fan knew from the beginning which direction the story was headed:
I never believed she was gone considering how phony the scene with Steffy was. Sheila would never have just gone after Steffy unarmed and be done in. It made no sense.
Although viewers weren’t surprised by Sheila’s return, it was a surprise for Kimberlin Brown. The actress assumed this was officially the end for her character. In an interview with Deadline, Brown revealed she was in the midst of a big move when she got the call to return.
I was looking forward to the next chapter in my life and what might come out of it acting wise or otherwise. I even bought property in Montana. I’m expecting a grandchild in June. My son lives there and I’m building a home in Montana so I can be closer to my grandchild. I was looking to close down my home in Los Angeles that I rent for work. And thank God I got the call from Brad the week before I was moving out of my house in L.A. I truly thought this was a done deal. And like I said, it was a bit of a roller coaster ride for me, and I’m just so thankful that that roller coaster is back on the uphill swing.
Sheila’s latest return will cause more trouble for Steffy, Finn, and their family. Plus, there’s also the mystery of why Sugar was at Steffy’s house. Also, will Sheila be up to her old tricks or on the road to redemption?
These are many questions that will be answered as the storyline unravels.
