Gypsy Rose Blanchard has fallen in love with her ex-fiancé all over again. The Life After Lock Up star reconnected with her former flame, Ken Urker, shortly after separating from her husband, Ryan Anderson, earlier this year. Although they’ve only been back together for a few weeks, Blanchard has realized Urker has always been the one for her. In a new interview with ET, she called Urker her “soulmate” and revealed she even sees a “future” with him.
Gypsy Rose Blanchard and Ken Urker Rekindle Romance Amid Her Divorce From Ryan Anderson
Gypsy Rose Blanchard and Ken Urker first connected in 2017. At the time, the Munchausen by proxy victim was serving a 10-year prison sentence for her involvement in her mother Dee Dee’s murder. The crime was the center of a documentary called Mommy Dead and Dearest. Urker watched the film and was so affected by it that he decided to send Blanchard a letter of support while she was in jail. After the pair became pen pals, they soon developed feelings for each other and got engaged in 2018. However, they broke up a year later.
Since then, Gypsy Rose Blanchard and Ken Urker have decided to give their relationship another chance. They began dating again following Blanchard’s split from Ryan Anderson in March. While talking to ET, Blanchard said it was easy to rekindle her relationship with Urker due to their long history.
We’ve always had a very close connection. Having that foundation has been essential to our reconnection and we’re just hopeful for what our future has in store. You know, I know that I’m going through a difficult time right now, and so I just really am doing the best I can with moving forward with my life.

So, what kind of future does Blanchard see with Urker? Although the Louisiana native could see herself getting married again, she doesn’t want to rush things. Instead, she and Urker are taking things slow and enjoying each other’s company.
I’ve always said Ken was my soulmate. But I don’t want to move too fast because, you know, I want to pace myself. I don’t want to put expectations and make things too heavy.
