This is the second Task you can get from Anton Jackson the Gunny Vendor. An unlikeable fellow mercenary was just killed in battle and it is our job to ensure his body gets home. For that reason, Gunny will hand you a Tracker which you have to plant on the soldier’s remains. Although the steps for completing the Gray Zone Warfare “Leave No Man Behind” Task is simple, locating the objective can be a bit hard.

The “Leave No Man Behind” Task can be completed by planting a GPS Tracker on a dead soldier’s body. You can get the Tracker from Gunny at the Base Camp but the soldier is located in a different town, depending on your Faction.

If you have trouble finding where to get the Tracker, open the Gray Zone Warfare Vendor menu and select Gunny. Then press the message icon beside the Create Squad option on the top-right side of your screen. Press the yellow “Collect” button at the bottom of the message screen. In case you lost the item, you can also buy one from Gunny for $50, check the bottom part of his sold item list.

Afterward, take the “Leave No Man Behind” item to the fallen soldier’s body somewhere near a Town Hall. The Hall is a huge beige-colored building with a red roof, you can check your map for its location. We also have listed the coordinates for the body below.

You might encounter a small pocket of resistance so take them out before playing Where’s Waldo. Basically, you’ll want to look around the Town Hall’s surrounding area by climbing chest-high brick fences and searching for a small alleyway behind a house. At the end, there should be a blood splatter on a wall, indicating the main “Leave No Man Behind” objective.

In front of it lies the lifeless body of the unfortunate soldier; interact with him to plant the GPS Tracker. With that done, open the Gray Zone Warfare Vendor menu, press the “Complete” button, and extract.

To recap, here are the “Leave No Man Behind” Task objectives guide and how to complete them in Gray Zone Warfare:

  • “Mark the location of the body.”: Use the GPS Tracker from Gunny to mark the body.
    • “Locate the body.”: The soldier’s body is near a Town Hall.
