Travis Kelce Reacts To Tom Brady Comedy Roast
During the event, Tom Brady made a joke about Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift. โKansas City, you say your stadium is the loudest? It helps when all your fans are 14-year-old girls,โ he said. โAnd in honor of Tay Tay, letโs take a look at the Chiefs eras โ terrible for 50 years, good for five. Shake it off.โ Fans have been waiting to see if either the pop star or the athlete would react to the jokes. And now, Kelce has.
โThat was unbelievable,โ he said on an episode of his New Heights podcast (which he co-hosts with brother Jason Kelce). โI had been in tears the whole day just watching the clips and everything, I wasnโt able to watch it live โฆ I commend everybody because nobody seemed to get, like, their feelings hurt,โ he said. โIt looked like everybody was having fun with it. At the same time, man, that s*** had me rolling because of how at everybodyโs neck people were going.โ
Kelce’s comments do not suggest that he was offended; rather, he saw the humor in it. His brother Jason agreed, referring to the show as โpure entertainmentโ and adding he is โreally happy they did it.โ However, Jason admitted to not getting the point of the roasts, and Travis started to giggle at his brother and referred to it as โcomedy.โ
For all those waiting for some drama to emerge between Travis Kelce and Tom Brady after the NFL legend’s comments, itโs not happening.
