Brady put Travis Kelce and his girlfriend Taylor Swift on blast.
Travis Kelce Reacts To Tom Brady Comedy Roast
During the event, Tom Brady made a joke about Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift. “Kansas City, you say your stadium is the loudest? It helps when all your fans are 14-year-old girls,” he said. “And in honor of Tay Tay, let’s take a look at the Chiefs eras – terrible for 50 years, good for five. Shake it off.” Fans have been waiting to see if either the pop star or the athlete would react to the jokes. And now, Kelce has.
“That was unbelievable,” he said on an episode of his New Heights podcast (which he co-hosts with brother Jason Kelce). “I had been in tears the whole day just watching the clips and everything, I wasn’t able to watch it live … I commend everybody because nobody seemed to get, like, their feelings hurt,” he said. “It looked like everybody was having fun with it. At the same time, man, that s*** had me rolling because of how at everybody’s neck people were going.”
Kelce’s comments do not suggest that he was offended; rather, he saw the humor in it. His brother Jason agreed, referring to the show as “pure entertainment” and adding he is “really happy they did it.” However, Jason admitted to not getting the point of the roasts, and Travis started to giggle at his brother and referred to it as “comedy.”
For all those waiting for some drama to emerge between Travis Kelce and Tom Brady after the NFL legend’s comments, it’s not happening.
