These days, it wouldn’t be outside the realm of possibility to say that a character’s really made it when they get a Fortnite skin. Nearly 2,000 characters from every kind of media you can think of have been adapted into Epic Games’s flagship, from Avatar: The Last Airbender to the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles to Grammy Award-winning singer The Weeknd. Of course, Marvel is already well-established in Fortnite, with sixty-seven skins already available, but we haven’t seen Loki yet. Thankfully, Epic Games has announced that the God of Mischief is about to make his grand entrance.
Loki’s Finally Found His Glorious Purpose – In Fortnite
We first got word that Loki would be coming to Fortnite via some leaks published earlier this month. Nearly two weeks later, Epic Games has officially confirmed that we’ll be getting new skins based around the Loki TV show, starring Tom Hiddleston as the titular god and Sophia Di Martino as Sylvie, a timeline variant of Loki. The announcement was made via a picture of Miss Minutes, the animated mascot of the TVA, and a caption: “Who could it be? Only time will tell.”
While Fortnite is trying to be coy about it in a way that fits Loki to a tee, there’s no doubt that several Loki-themed skins are coming soon. The Loki skins will be coming to Fortnite in Chapter 5, Season 2, which was introduced back in March with the “Myths and Mortals” theme. The Loki pack will reportedly include:
- “Loki, God of Stories” character skin
- “Sylvie Laufeydottir” character skin
- “Sylvie’s Crown” backpack
- “Miss Minutes” backpack
- “Sylvie’s Sword” pickaxe
- “TVA Time Stick” pickaxe
- “Mischief Flip” emote
- “Sylvie’s Armor” weapons/outfit wrap
While an official release date for the Loki content hasn’t been confirmed, the leaks have previously stated that Loki will be coming to Fortnite on May 17th. If you can’t wait that long for more Loki content, then you can also check out two seasons of Loki on Disney+ today.
