While meditating, you’ll hear the words of your weapon’s spirit, guiding you closer to unlocking new abilities. Being a good listener really does pay off. Here’s how to listen to your spirit in Type Soul:
- Become a Soul Reaper
- Reach Grade Two
- Press “M” to begin meditating
- Meditate until your character stands up
- Meditate three more times to initiate a battle with your zanpakuto’s spirit
- Defeat your zanpakuto to unlock Shikai
The personality of your zanpakuto’s spirit is determined randomly, and when you listen to your spirit in Type Soul, you’ll get different dialog depending on that personality. Here are the Shikai spirit personality types and how you advance them:
