Cassie Ventura’s husband, Alex Fine, is speaking up against his wife’s abuser, Diddy. The music mogul’s reputation was further destroyed on Friday after the release of shocking surveillance footage from 2016. In it, Diddy was seen brutally assaulting Cassie in an L.A. hotel on March 5, 2016, while wearing a towel. The clip confirms the many allegations of abuse the singer levied against her ex-boyfriend in her since-settled lawsuit. In light of that, Cassie’s husband took to social media to remind fans of his strong stance against domestic violence.
Cassie’s Husband Shares Poignant Letter Against Diddy
Following the circulation of the abhorrent hotel surveillance clip, Fine shared a letter he previously wrote detailing the woes of domestic violence against women. “Wrote this awhile back but the words ring true not just today but everyday. I want my kids and every kid to live in a world that’s safe for women and girls, protects them and treats them as equals,” he captioned an image of the lengthy message.
The letter which was addressed to “women and children” began, “Men who hit women aren’t men. Men who enable it and protect those people aren’t men. As men, violence against women shouldn’t be inevitable, check your brothers, your friends, and your family.” Fine emphasized how women should always feel protected, and encouraged men to hold other men accountable.
Fine also shared words of encouragement to abuse survivors. “To all the survivors, your stories are real and people believe you,” he wrote. “To all the survivors, you are not alone.” However, the highlight of the personal trainer’s letter was his angry message to abusers while he concluded.
“To the abusers, you’re done, you’re not safe anymore. You’re not protected anymore, the men by your side are just as weak. You’re so miserable with yourself that death would be considered kindness.”

In no time, fans bombarded Fine’s post, showering him with adulation for standing up for his wife. “The best example of a man, you’ll make your kids proud,” gushed one fan, while another wrote, “I love how you love her and support her. Such an upstanding man.”
Another comment read, “Thank you for being everything your wife and daughters deserve from a man.” A fourth fan penned, “You are an amazing advocate for your wife! Its so refreshing to see a real man stand up to DV! So happy for both you and Cassie! Thank you for shining light on that situation and helping her find the strength to have a voice!”
