The “Kardashian Kurse” might have invaded the Cannes Film Festival. The prestigious event was not without drama when rappers Travis Scott and Tyga fought at an after-party. The pair went at it, inviting a third party into the mix, in the person of Cher‘s younger boyfriend, Alexander ‘AE’ Edwards. Although details of what caused the clash remain unknown, fans can’t help but point accusing fingers at the Kardashian-Jenner clan.
Scott and Tyga crossed paths at promoter Richie Akiva’s after-party event at Cannes. Per reports, both rappers were on the stage together when Akiva gave them a shout-out. Sources tell TMZ that the promoter said, “We got T-Raww, AE, and Travis in the building.” Unfortunately, Akiva’s words didn’t sit well with Scott. An insider claimed the SICKO MODE rapper wasn’t happy about being grouped with Tyga and AE. As a result, Scott flipped and snatched the microphone out of the promoter’s hands causing a reaction from AE, Tyga’s pal.
Things only escalated from there, with Travis hurling words at Tyga’s security team before walking off stage. Unfortunately, he returned with 808 Mafia producer Southside, and a physical fight broke out. Southside and AE allegedly began attacking each other. Cher’s boyfriend delivered several hefty blows before Scott intervened, pushing him off Southside. Then AE and Scott got into it, throwing themselves all across the stage.
A video of the altercation has since gone viral online, showing two men exchanging hands. Many believe Tyga and Travis Scott, but no one knows as their faces aren’t evident. Scott and Southside reportedly left the venue once security got involved. Tyga and AE, on the other hand, remained for the rest of the party. No one has been reported injured from the brawl.

Following a recording of the brawl going viral, fans have shared their thoughts on what might have caused the beef. To no one’s surprise, everyone had the Kardashian-Jenner family members on their lips. One fan asked, “Does their beef have anything to do with Kylie Jenner?” Another remarked, “Fighting over a Kardashian is wild.”
A third fan joked, “Kylie, if you don’t come get your men,” while a fourth one claimed, “Both still not over Kylie, lol.” A fifth Internet user penned, “I’m sure Kris is somewhere plotting on how they can make this into a storyline.”
It is no surprise that fans are linking a Kardashian to the drama. Travis Scott and Tyga are both exes of Kylie Jenner. Kylie and Tyga dated from around 2014 to 2016 while she and Scott were an item from 2017 to 2023. Another surprise Kardashian connection is that Alexander AE Edwards used to date model Amber Rose, Kanye West‘s ex before his marriage to Kim Kardashian.
