Millie Bobby Brown and Jake Bongiovi are now married. On Friday, May 24, The Sun reported the couple secretly tied the knot last weekend. The exciting news comes just a little over a year after the stars announced their engagement on social media.
According to the publication, the British actress and American model exchanged their vows in the United States. Their ceremony is said to have been a “very low-key romantic affair” since only their closest family members received an invite. Of course, that meant Millie’s parents, Robert Brown and Kelly Brown, attended, as well as Jake’s parents, Jon Bon Jovi and Dorothea Bongiovi.
Rumor has it the couple opted to have a small ceremony since they couldn’t wait to be legally recognized as husband and wife. Now that they’ve done the paperwork, they plan to hold a bigger wedding celebration later this year. The event will also be held in the United States. However, it’s unclear exactly who will be there.
Millie Bobby Brown and Jake Bongiovi first went public with their relationship in November 2021. After two years of dating, they announced they had gotten engaged in April 2023. The pair shared the news on Instagram with a black and white photo of them hugging as the Stranger Things star flaunted her engagement ring to the camera.
While appearing on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon in February, Millie revealed Jake proposed to her when they were on a romantic vacation. Apparently, the model popped the question during one of their usual diving adventures. Although the ring fell into the water after Millie accepted his proposal, Jake saved the day by fetching it in a “cinematic grab.”
