---|---|
S | Archer Queen, Barbarian King, Hog Rider, Tank, Witch |
A | Barbarian, Bea, Bo, El Primo, Greg, Goblin, Mavis, Max, Medic, Mortis, Royale King, Shelly, Wizard |

Our Squad Busters tier list contains all 27 currently playable units divided into four rankings:
- S-tier units have unconditional priority and should be included in your squad if you own them.
- A-tier units are excellent although they will still come up short compared to S-tier or out of certain scenarios.
- B-tier characters can be good but have vital shortcomings that make them unfavorable in most situations.
- C-tier characters are weak and mostly excel in very specific situations.
Best Busters Explanations
Best to Worst All-Rounders
- Barbarian: A very solid starter unit. The best example of an All-Rounder character as he can help you out in the late game as long as he’s getting upgrades.
- Bo: Solid unit with range attack to boot. However, he’s hardcountered by his fellow All-Rounders like Barbarian and Shelly.
- Mortis: Having three additional summons boosts your squad’s damage and health. Not to mention that it also works as an intimidation tactic. Other players will think twice when seeing a large crowd camping the Gem Mine!
- Shelly: Great All-Rounder thanks to her range, knockback ability, and self-heal at two Stars. You can’t go wrong with her, especially in lower zones.
Best to Worst Attackers Unit in Squad Busters Tier List
- Archer Queen: Insane stat and can boost all of your ranged units’ attack speed. The definition of S-tier character as she has no flaw. Thankfully, she can be instantly unlocked once you link your Supercell ID in the Settings.
- Bea: A solid ranged Attacker that can also increase her damage by collecting bees. Slightly overshadowed by Colt and other ranged units but shines if you like exploring the maps before fighting.
- Witch: Great ranged spell attack paired with Skeleton summons to overwhelm your opponents. What’s not to like?
- Wizard: Lets you carry two Spells, increasing your survivability and counter opportunities in battle. Nevertheless, you only need one unit in your group as his ability doesn’t stack.
- Colt: We really want to put him in higher tiers, as he deals crazy DPS, but Colt’s a glass cannon. He also gets hard-countered by Busters with status effects like Shelly’s stun or El Primo’s knockback. You’ll need proper tactics to utilize Colt to his full potential.
- Dynamike: Has good splash damage but disappointing overall attack. Hard to use and potentially will only be viable once you reach late game and fuse him.
Best to Worst Defenders in Squad Busters Tier List
- Barbarian King: The different side to the Archer Queen coin. If she boosts ranged units, then you’ll want this Clash of Clans hero if you focus on a melee Squad.
- Tank: Can override Tanks that are found all over the map, boosting your Squad’s damage and defense exponentially.
- El Primo: While his damage is quickly outclassed once you unlock other Defenders, his knockback can easily interrupt enemy offense, giving extra survivability and counter opportunities.
- Heavy: For a Defender, he deals extremely high damage. However, you need to stay still to reach that firepower, making it a risky playstyle, especially in PvP.
- Royale King: Can obtain Royal Recruits summon every time you open a Chest. Very good to pump up your Squad’s number but his usefulness could decrease sharply in late game when Chests becomes more expensive.
- Nita: A great Tank as long as she has her Bear to help your Squad soak up more damage.
Best to Worst Healers in Squad Busters Tier List
- Medic: Overtime, passive healing is extremely useful as you only need to wait to recover health. It’s fair to say that, unsurprisingly, someone called the Medic is the best Healer in the game.
- Battle Healer: Heals your units as you open Chests. This means you need to play aggressively with her in your Squad.
- Pam: Meh stats and slow heal, safe to say she’s the worst Healer in the game.
Best to Worst Speedsters
- Hog Rider: Good stats and will boost your speed when touching grasses. Very competent and reliable unit. Remember though, like Wizard, his ability does not stack so you don’t need to fuse him.
- Max: Very strong speed buff as you get a set amount of bonus after getting her from a Chest. While the buff is strong, the Brawl Stars hero relies more on a good roll and can be tough to get at late game.
- Chicken: A very specialized unit for boosting movement and/or attack speed. Get him to level three and three Boots and you should be able to zip around the map fast. Having multiple Chickens can also increase your attack speed. But if don’t feel the need for speed, then there’s zero reason to use him because Chicken’s very squishy.
Best to Worst Suppliers in Squad Busters Tier List
- Greg: We would’ve put him in S tier if his use didn’t immediately fall off after early game or 1:30 minutes. If you can get Greg as your first two units, pick him; otherwise, don’t. You also want to limit him from fusing just once as his ability no longer stacks beyond that point.
- Goblin: As he increases your Coins gain, he’s pretty good in early and mid-game. Shines in Doppelganger and Double Trouble.
- Mavis: Same as Greg, she’s an excellent early-game Coin maker. Mavis also needs to fuse only once as well.
- Penny: A unique Supplier since she can deal huge amounts of damage and can give off Keys from hidden treasures. However, her skill can feel a bit inconsistent compared to higher-tiered units, and relies on luck.
- Trader: Excels only when you’re farming as his healing is good when you’re not fighting and the Gem bonus can stack up fast.
