In Wuthering Waves, one of the best ways to gain EXP is by improving the Data Bank and improving builds by getting Echoes. There are several types of Echoes and specimens, which makes their abilities vary. In addition, there are Phantom Echoes, which are the “Shiny” of Wuthering Waves. Although these aspects do not affect their stats, it is like having new skins.
Wuthering Waves: All Phantom Echoes and Its Locations
Getting all Phantom Echoes will be challenging since their appearance rate is not that high in Solaris-3. You can also search for Shiny Echoes on your friends’ worlds, which is better because all co-op players will get the Echo. However, if your hunt is unsuccessful, some Phantom Echoes will appear in the Points Shop rotation. If you want to try your luck, in Wuthering Waves, there are six Phantom Echoes, and you can find them in these locations:
- Phantom Feilian Beringal: Purchase it with 120 Hazard Records in Adversity Exchange, a feat you can achieve after accumulating 1,200 Hazard Records.
- Phantom Hoartoise: You can find it in Tolling Stream, south of the Bell-Borne Geocheloneor. Another Hoartoise’s location is in Thorn Passage.
- Phantom Impermanence Heron: Buy it with 400 Illusive Specimen from Depths of Illusive Realm, a task you can undertake after successfully clearing difficulty three.
- Phantom Mourning Aix: Exchange 300 Data Set from the Simulation Training Store after obtaining 2,500 Data Set total.
- Phantom Rocksteady Guardian: You can find it at the Withering Frontline, south of the Thundering Mephis. Another of its locations is the north island of the Tower of Adversity.
- Phantom Thundering Mephis: In the Simulation Training Store, you can buy it for 300 Data Set after obtaining 3,500 Data Set total.
How to Use Phantom Echoes
The only difference between Normal Echoes and Phantom Echoes is that the latter have different colors in their design. To use these Shiny Echoes, you need to equip their skin by following these steps:
- Open your Resonators menu.
- Look for the Echoes section and find the one you want to change its skin. It is as if you were going to equip it.
- In the window, you will see the Echoes on the left side and the stats of the selected Echo on the right side.
- Next to the Equip and Upgrade buttons at the bottom right will be two other circular buttons. Select the one with the monster logo.
- The two versions of the same Echo will appear. Select the Phantom and activate the Apply Phantom Appearance option.
Wuthering Waves: Do you believe in Light Trophy
Since you are hunting Phanyom echoes around your world, you can take the opportunity to get the Do you believe in Light Trophy from Wuthering Waves. All you need to do to complete this challenge is to go after the Phantom Rocksteady Guardian and absorb it. To defeat the Echo, you better stay away from his mighty fists; with dodge, you can do it perfectly; if not, stay behind the enemy. You’d better jump when the Rocksteady hits the ground with a devastating punch. Otherwise, you’ll end up flying away.
Once you absorb the Phantom Rocksteady Guardian from Wuthering Waves, Do you believe in Light Trophy notification will be triggered. This is part of the Trophies in the Voices section, subsection Echo Collection. You will also get x20 Asterites for completing this achievement.
