Kuro Games has faced several complications and controversies in the short time Wuthering Waves has been out. Most of these problems are due to bugs and errors in the first version of this gacha game. Although some players have had their experience of the game affected, the studio has to try to fix any problems. The team apologized for the bugs in version 1.0 and gave us a glimpse of what is coming for Wuthering Waves update 1.1. So, while the current state of this game might not be the best, the future already looks much brighter.
In a recent announcement, the developers refer to many of the problems that Wuthering Waves has presented and how they’ll correct them. These are the highlights of their statement:
- Echo Development Experience
- The usage and yield of materials in Echo development seem unfair, so WuWa will include a limited-time Echo material double yield event, “Chord Cleansing,” in version 1.0.
- In version 1.1, the game will reduce the Shell Credit costs of Echo development and increase Echoes’ yield. Also, the reward cutscene of the Tacet Field will disappear.
- In the future, the game will introduce the Waveplates storage system.
- Handling of the reward system error when recycling developed Echoes
- Due to erroneous amounts of Shell Credits when using the Echo recycling system, Kuro Game will compensate all players with extra Shell Credit ×1,000,000. Also, all Rovers will get Crystal Solvents ×20 for the issues with the Echo system.
- Error in 5-Star Weapon Description
- Kuro Games will give a one-time compensation of Forging Tides ×5 to all Rovers players with the same language localization with translation errors.
- Events
- Kuro Game will redesign the rules and reward schemes for the upcoming events.
- New limited-time special event: Wuthering Exploration
- Rewards: Astrites ×800, Morphable Elite Class Echo I, Morphable Elite Class Echo II, Premium Tuner, and Premium Sealed Tube.

- After that, there will be a scheduled server downtime for Wuthering Waves Version 1.1, “Thaw of Eons.” Because of this version timing adjustment, all Rovers will get Radiant Tide ×10. Also, this version will add :

Even if they haven’t completely succeeded, they remain responsive and look for ways to keep their players happy. This is vital, at least if the developers want to keep Wuthering Waves updates afloat in this flooded gacha market.
