Recently, Rick Ross took to social media to reveal his desire to get a zoo license. The rapper’s zoo, an extension of his Georgia estate, which he renamed the “Promise Land,” might become legit soon. If that works, there might just be a collaboration between Rick Ross and Eddie Murphy. Recall that Ross began to form the zoo in February 2022 when he purchased a cow. Since then, he has added two buffalos, a lion and a lioness. On Thursday, the rap mogul took to his Instagram story to announce his plans to expand the Promise Land. In a video reposted by The Shade Room, the MMG honcho revealed he had ordered new animals and filed for a zoo license.
“I just ordered two elephants, a male and a female. Promise Land, get ready. Imma have and own two elephants that I can take care of and nurture that’s why I’ve already filed for my zoo license,” Ross said. Besides elephants, the 48-year-old also revealed that he’s gearing up to bring the tallest land animals on earth: giraffes.
“It takes time but guess what I am buying right now? Two giraffes. You going to have to climb up somewhere real tall to feed them things,” Ross said. In another slide, the record executive noted that he would like to work with Murphy. According to him, once the actor was ready to film Coming to America 3 and Dr. Doolittle at the Promise Land, he would rent out the animals.
