Taylor Swift has revealed that she’s not a fan of Donald Trump. In the past, the singer has been very outspoken about her political views, and they don’t seem to line up with those of the former President. However, that hasn’t stopped Trump from gushing over the global icon. In fact, he reportedly has a little bit of a crush on the singer. A new book about Trump’s time on reality TV’s The Apprentice reveals the politician’s true feelings about Swift, and they will likely surprise many fans on both sides of the political spectrum.
The book, Apprentice in Wonderland: How Donald Trump and Mark Burnett Took America Through the Looking Glass, written by Ramin Setoodeh, dives into it. According to OK! Magazine, the book reveals that Trump thinks Swift is a very talented and beautiful woman. However, he did question whether or not her liberal political views were real, or possibly just a Hollywood act.

“I think she’s beautiful — very beautiful!” Trump reportedly said. “I find her very beautiful. I think she’s liberal. She probably doesn’t like Trump. I hear she’s very talented. I think she’s very beautiful, actually — unusually beautiful,” he continued. “She is liberal, or is that just an act? She’s legitimately liberal? It’s not an act? It surprises me that a country star can be successful being liberal.”
While Donald Trump may be fond of Taylor Swift, the singer (who hasn’t released a country album in over a decade) doesn’t seem to feel the same. In 2020, she took to social media to share blistering criticism of the then-President.
“After stoking the fires of white supremacy and racism your entire presidency, you have the nerve to feign moral superiority before threatening violence? ‘When the looting starts the shooting starts’??? We will vote you out in November,” Swift wrote at the time. She later endorsed Joe Biden.
Taylor Swift has yet to share any thoughts on the 2024 Presidential election. However, it doesn’t seem likely that her feelings about Donald Trump have changed. Meanwhile, Swift’s boyfriend, Kanas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce, recently made headlines for a recent interaction with Joe Biden at the White House.
