Ariana Grande has shocked Instagram users with her appearance as new photos of her attending a hockey game show her weight loss. The Grammy-winning singer attended the NHL’s Stanley Cup Finals at the start of the week, rooting for her home state and looking cute in a casual sweatshirt look.
While some eyed up Ariana’s style, many took to the comments to express concern for her well-being. Ariana, 30, made April 2023 headlines for asking fans to stop commenting on people’s bodies, but it doesn’t look like her wishes were listened to. While comments to the “thank u, next” hitmaker’s Instagram are limited, those to the Just Jared-posted images of her weren’t. Here, users said that Ariana looks “sick,” with one fan likening her to a “skeleton.”

Looking in good spirits as she was photographed cheering the Florida Panthers on, Ariana shrouded her petite frame in a black sweater bearing the Panthers logo. Showing her tiny shoulders and slim neck, the pop sensation smiled as she wore matte makeup, with a bold red lip adding glam.
Keeping cute with her hair in space buns, the ex to Pete Davidson wore cream-colored, plastic-rimmed frames atop her head, plus a discreet pair of diamond earrings. In a swipe right, Ariana was seen clapping, here showing her delicate finger tattoos and an elegant manicure.
In a caption, Just Jared wrote: “Ariana Grande is clearly a hockey fan! She went to Game 2 of the Stanley Cup finals to cheer on her home team from Florida, two nights after attending the first game.”
Fans Think She Looks ‘Sick’
Users did not appear to be trolling as they expressed what looked like genuine worry. “Not looking well at all,” one fan replied with a sad-face emoji. Over 80 fans agreed with a comment saying that Grande looks “sick,” with a user replying to this comment suggesting that Ariana is suffering from an eating disorder.
“She looks unhealthy. My opinion – does not have to be true,” a further fan replied. An isolated comment mentioned Ozempic, although Grande has generally not made headlines for speculation that she’s slimmed down using the weight loss drug.
Ariana had, last year, said that people were comparing her “current” physique to “the unhealthiest version of my body” as she revealed having been on antidepressant medication and consuming alcohol while taking them. She continued that you “never know what someone is going through.”
