The entertainment industry can be brutal, and many stars are unsure who to trust, but Jennifer Aniston and Courteney Cox have never had this problem. Their acting as best friends on the hit sitcom Friends was fantastic, but they didn’t have to try too hard because, in real life, these two women share an incredibly close bond. Aniston put their relationship on display recently when she took to Instagram to celebrate Cox’s birthday.
She posted a bunch of pictures from throughout their decades of friendship, giving fans a glimpse into the relationship. From screenshots on video calls to old photos that appear to have been taken at red-carpet events, the post is one of the sweetest celebrity birthday tributes on the internet right now.
In the caption, Aniston shared her thoughts with a heartfelt message about just how much Cox means to her.
“Celebrating this powerful, magical, mystical, interesting, interested, ferociously talented girl today!!!” she wrote. “My sweet CC @courteneycoxofficial… she’s funny like no other, STUNNING on the inside and out. Independent in the most gorgeous way, cares for everyone even if she doesn’t know you. Terrified of dogs even though I’ve never known her NOT to have at least two of them. Fiercely loyal to the end.”
She also mentioned how Cox would “redecorate a room like nobody’s business. Spot a smudge on a window from a mile (literally) away,” (which makes her sound a little bit similar to her Friends character, Monica Gellar). Aniston finished the message by writing,
